Washing instructions for Perfect Jeans
We want you to enjoy your Perfect Jeans for many years to come. That’s why we’ve gathered some tips on how to best care for your Perfect Jeans, so they keep their colour and elasticity.
Do not use an iron
Perfect Jeans are made from materials that can be damaged by high temperatures. We therefore recommend avoiding the use of an iron on your jeans.
Wash them inside out
When washing your Perfect Jeans, it’s important to turn them inside out. This helps protect the colour and texture of your jeans. Washing them right side out can cause friction between the fabrics, leading to wear and colour fading.
Air dry only
After washing, we recommend air drying your Perfect Jeans. Avoid using a tumble dryer, as it may cause shrinking and damage the fibres. Hang them on a hanger or drying rack and let them dry at room temperature.
Do not use fabric softener
Fabric softener can damage the fibres in your Perfect Jeans and cause loss of colour and elasticity. We therefore recommend not using fabric softener when washing your jeans.
Wash at a maximum of 30°C
To protect the colour and elasticity of your Perfect Jeans, we recommend washing them at a maximum of 30°C.
Wash in a sufficiently filled washing machine
When washing your Perfect Jeans, make sure the washing machine is sufficiently full. If it’s too empty, friction between the jeans can occur, leading to wear. If you only have a few pairs to wash, add some towels or other soft textiles to fill up the machine.
Do not use detergent containing bleach
Detergents that contain bleach can damage the colour and texture of your Perfect Jeans. We recommend using a detergent with as little bleach as possible. We’ve had good experience with REMA 1000’s liquid, perfume-free colour detergent.
Remember to wash your new jeans before wearing them to extend their lifespan – but try them on first, as washed jeans cannot be returned or exchanged.
