Our big wish has always been to make a pair of jeans for real people, with all kinds of body types. It's not about perfection, but about feeling comfortable in your own body, and not least your own jeans.
Here you can read our story from idea to reality.
Our dream with Perfect Jeans has never been to create ‘the perfect pair of jeans’. We wanted to make jeans for real people. Bodies don't come in five fixed sizes, and therefore jeans shouldn't either. Our goal was to make jeans that were comfortable to wear all day and actually fit.
The name Perfect Jeans is not about us thinking we've found the perfect solution. Because perfect doesn't exist. It's about the feeling when the jeans finally fit well, when you don't have to pull them up, when they don't pinch, chafe, or lose color. It's about when it just works. That's why we are called Perfect Jeans.

The whole journey started back in 2014 when we ran another company, selling catalog clothing and a few items we designed ourselves. It quickly became clear that we were not alone. The same items were found in several places, and it was mostly about the price. It didn't feel meaningful. We missed creating something that actually made a difference. It inspired us to create a product where quality and design were the focus.
We could see that the items most often returned were jeans. It was clear that customers had difficulty finding jeans that fit well. We decided to take up the challenge. What if we could make jeans that actually fit? We used the experience we had gained and embarked on the project.
In 2017, the development and entire design process began. Our goal was to create a pair of jeans with high comfort, that would retain color, be soft, stretchable, and fit any body type. We had to start from scratch, but after a year and a half of intense work, we finally had a result we were proud of; a pair of black skinny jeans for women. Today, our Skinny Ravens are still among our bestsellers.
Could we not use our many years of experience in the clothing and textile industry to develop the perfect jeans? Our mission and vision were very clear: we wanted to create the perfect pair of jeans for all women regardless of body type.

On June 12, 2019, we were finally able to launch Perfect Jeans. Honestly, we had never dared to hope for the reception we received, and the first batch was quickly sold out. We chose to reinvest every single penny into the company so we could buy even more jeans. Thus, we built the company without a single external investor. And we are extremely proud that we still run the business ourselves today.
Over time, there were too many tasks for us to keep up with, so we now have a team of skilled employees who help drive the company forward every day. We moved from our home office to a 300 sqm space in our hometown, Svendborg. In 2022, we had to expand by 1,000 sqm, and in 2024 we ran out of storage space again. Therefore, we partnered with Maersk to move our warehouse to Taulov. Now we have 40,000 square meters to work with, which has made it possible to grow and think even bigger. It also means that we now have all 1,300 sqm for office space, and we still have our base in Svendborg.
Since the launch in 2019, we have expanded the range with more fits, colors, product types, and even products for men. This means that we now have more than 200 different products, spread across both genders. Today, we ship to 48 countries around the world.
It's amazing that our little business has come this far. For us, Perfect Jeans is more than just jeans. There is nothing greater for us than being able to solve real problems for real people. That's why we also get emotional when our customers write that they have found a pair of jeans they feel comfortable in for the first time. We have helped people with stoma bags, with Down syndrome, some who are 150 centimeters tall, and others who are over 2 meters, to find the perfect jeans. Many of them have been searching for a good pair of jeans for years without success, but finally succeeded. That's what makes it all worthwhile.
We truly believe that it's the jeans that should fit the person - not the other way around.
